[MUSIC PLAYING] In this lesson, I want you to choose a core t-shirt for your new business. There are quite a few different t-shirts to choose from to sell in your store, so how do you choose the right one? First, consider your ideal customer. What style of t-shirt do they wear? For example, if it's women, you may want to go with a women's fit crop top or v-neck. If you're selling in fitness, you might want to consider tank tops or Dri-Fit tees.
Get the idea? Generally speaking, unisex t-shirts are always a safe option for men and women. My go to t-shirt for print on demand is the Bella and Canvas 3001. It's a unisex t-shirt, and in my experience, most men and women love this tee. It's also pretty cost effective. It's not the cheapest, not the most expensive, and usually falls in the middle somewhere leaving you plenty of profit margin.
This tee stacks up well to the more premium tees. It's soft and fits well. The key here is to consider your market. What kind of tees are they already wearing? What companies are they already buying t-shirts from? And what tees are those companies selling? Answering these questions will help you select the perfect garment.
