Now, I'll show you how to make a collection. The purpose of a collection is so that you can group products into categories to make it easier for customers to find them. So, for example, you can create a collection of bestselling products, of holiday specials or holiday gift ideas or you could create, if you had, for example, a fashion store you could create a collection of sweaters or tops or sunglasses. If you only have a few products, it may not be necessary to do this yet, so you can come back to this lesson when you have different types of products uploaded.
So, to create a collection from your Shopify admin, click on "Products" and then "Collections." From the "Collections" page, click "Create collection," and enter the details for the collection. So the products that I added were all one-time-use seasoning kits. So that's what I'm gonna call this collection. You can add an image to describe the collection.
Under "Conditions," choose "Manually select products" and then hit "Save." Now, scroll down to the product section and select the products that you'd like to add. So, I can just type in the products to search for them and then they pop up. So we've added chana masala and now I'm gonna add the daal seasoning as well.
