This is the last step before the Thank You page where you could try to increase the average order value, right? Then let's make it happen. If you have a Shopify plus account, you can customize the checkout and try to increase the average order value. Let's take a look at the nice example, Pura Vida again.
In this case with Pura Vida from the cart page, I'm actually going to checkout. Let's have a look. As you can see here on the right side, we are seeing actually two nice upsell where Pura Vida is trying to upsell me with two different products. And here because it's so simple and I'm already actually in the checkout page, I'm going to say, well, why not spend $4 more for a mystery bracelet. Click Add to cart, great.
I just increased my average order value. Isn't that beautiful? And you can do the same if you have a Shopify plus account, but if you don't have a Shopify plus account, you can try even something like expedite shipping, so you can maybe charge the customer more if they want faster shipping option. Meanwhile, if you have a Shopify plus account, I suggest you to upsell or cross-sell more of the same product.
So for example in this case, a T-shirt or a bracelet but with a very special discount to make the offer irresistible for your customer, and so increase your average order value.
