[MUSIC PLAYING] In the previous lesson, I said that the check out was the last page where you could access something. Well, I was joking or kind of. After the customer made the purchase, you have a couple of options here. First option, if the user land on the classic thank you page, you could offer via third party apps a special discount site wide, valid for the next 30 minutes or so, take it or leave it.

In this way, customer will probably say, well, I already spend $60, maybe I could get that special product that they really liked before and still save some money. Apps like Rebuy and ReConvert can help you to do that. Another option is by using again, third party apps like Zipify or Kartik which are now fully integrated with Shopify. You will be able to offer upsell post checkout.

Let's make an example, so I'm going to explain you what does it mean post purchase upsell. The advantage here is basically that the customer doesn't have to add his credit card details again. Let's imagine that you are selling a pair of socks here and the customer reach the checkout, add his credit card details, made the purchase. Before reaching the Thank you page, we're going to show a special offer in this case, like a t-shirt, a blue t-shirt for, I don't know, 30%, 40% off.

If the customer is going to say, yes, I want that, automatically, this will be added to his order and he doesn't have to on his credit card again. And then after this step, you can either show a downsell, for example. Maybe he didn't like the t-shirt in this case, we are going to offer, I don't know another-- a shirt, a blue shirt, in this case. And if you say, yes, then this order, this product, specifically, is going to be added to his order.

After that, he will reach the Thank you page. And that's it. Just as simple as that with apps like Zipify, Kartik, this is super easy and you can increase average of the value even after the checkout.
