[MUSIC PLAYING] One mantra actually came out of a collaboration that we did with a woman named Emily Haines, who is the lead singer of a rock band, metric. And we worked with her on doing a music video for Goldie Blocks. And she wrote an original song that was inspired by Goldie Blocks. It was so fun working with her. Speaking of girl power role models is just on the top of my list. And I was pretty star struck collaborating with her.
And even though she's not an engineer, she really related to the story of overcoming failure and how important it is for girls to realize that you don't need to be a born genius at something, but if you work hard at it, and try, and try again, then you will overcome. And you can be successful, whether it's as an engineer, or an entrepreneur, or a musician. And so we worked on the song together and the chorus that she came up with really moved me.
What if I'm not right the first time. What if I just try 10 more times. And I sing that to myself now all the time. And I play this song every now and then when I need some motivation. And we play it as a company sometimes if it's something that we had really gone for and put our everything into it and it didn't totally work out the way that we had wanted, we play the song and we just get back up again, and then we keep plowing forward.
The goal of Goldie Blocks in our social mission is that we want to instill in girls this perseverance and willingness to fail and overcome. And so as a company, we need to embody those same values. And so all the employees here also need to remember that mantra. What we're teaching to girls is the same thing that we're experiencing every day as we're building our business.
Which is we can't be afraid to fail. We've got to put something out there that we believe in and try. And if it doesn't-- if we don't knock it out of the park, we're not going to give up. You're going to learn from it and we're going to keep going. [MUSIC PLAYING]
