OK now that you have an understanding of the process. Let's look at some of the brands we've lost in real time. We'll take a look at the thought process and the results of a solid brand update. Ready cool. There's something on my computer now. Let's talk about case studies. These are examples of design work and identities that we've done or worked on in the past. So first off we have the gamers grid.
0:31
We had an opportunity to design a brand for a gaming apparel company an online community. This was a brand identity and design that we created and then built out in Shopify as an e-commerce store. So here it is here. As you can see, the fonts the look and feel are all consistent. You can see the logo as well as the design of bonds. All here as well. And you can see that we have a consistent look and feel across the board.

Now when it comes to assets the things we worked on here are of course social. So we have all of these social collateral that's needed. So if I go to Facebook. I can see the cover photo here. I can see the profile pic here and you can see that that is consistent across the board. Also everything is in line with the brand guidelines that we created. So if you look here at this PDF dot you'll see that we created brand guidelines for that brand.
1:21
So you can see we have an introduction we have about the vision the overall tone the brand mark all of that is included in this design. If I go back and I hit back one more time we've actually done accessory mockups as well. So we've designed the look and feel and how this will look on different apparel and products. And as you can see there's at just consistent look across the field.
1:44
And then if we look at the website. That website also has that look as well with the purple hue and as a color palette in the brand. So this just helps you make more informed decisions in regards to how you're laying out your brand and your design. When it comes to the Google Drive folder architecture you can see we have a business card here brand guidelines header images logo social all that's included and we're able to access this at any time.
2:10
Next up we have prop movie money. We conducted a complete brand identity redesign for probably with money to marry their monetary significance and its ties to modern cinema. So let's take a look at the brand. First and foremost you built the site in Shopify and they essentially provide prop money to hot films as well as productions music videos and more. So we did the entire brewery brand of their website as well as their company and we wanted to marry that that monetary gain to the cinema look and feel.
2:45
So let's jump into the brand guidelines that we created. And so we did a complete rework of the logo. You can see problem with money. The leader and problem money we've got Brent Franklin on the side profile of course he's on the $100 bill and then we also have this movie strip around his collar. So we really wanted to define that in the overall look and feel that we added fun movie quotes that have to do with money throughout the brand identity the background looks like a Tableau tattered dollar bill.
3:11
And so we really tried to tie-in that money tone in with their overall brand. And so essentially prop movie money is a positive entrepreneurial platform and we really want to make the brand mark reflect that as it almost looks like a stamp that you put on $1 bill. So really think about these concepts when you're doing your brand discovery and make sure that you're providing that consistent look and feel across the board on everything else as you can see, if I go back to design.
3:39
We've got brand guy biz cards and more so we really wanted to make sure that problem movie money was reflected in this new brand readers. So next we have Kate as your professional beauty products. We collaborated with a high end hair care brand to work on the redesign of their successful brand. So let's go ahead and take a look Is it Kate your first things first. Of course we have the website. This was built in Shopify as well as you can see when it comes to the font the design for this we use a serif font.
4:09
You guys you can see a little feet on the end because this is more of a high end brands we wanted to have that signature high end look a lot of whitespace here in the design just to make sure it was consistent with that brand and everything looks pretty clean when we go to the brand guidelines. You can see that it's the same thing here, as well. So we have the contents of the introduction about the vision the overall tone the location and then we break down the brand mark.
4:36
So it's actually a line call here guys home by Katie's or so we brought that down as well. And we talk about the typography as fonts that we use then if we look at the logo you can see we have the multiple versions. And this is something I want to show you who's the source file. This is where everything comes from. We're able to edit this is the white version with the black background. Then we have the PMG version where it's the black on the transparent background.
5:02
And then we have another version where it's just on a white background. So you want to have all these multiple versions that way you can put it on the peril or different things that you're using as well. Then we have the Facebook cover image as you can see it's here. When you do the Facebook cover image just one tip. Try and keep the content towards the middle. That way it looks great on both desktop and mobile versions of the site.
5:23
As long as you consent to that pretty well you'll do a good job. All right also those are the case studies that I wanted to go over to give you just an overall look at some real brands out there that are doing the same thing that we've gone over in this.
