[MUSIC PLAYING] Welcome to module 3. This module is designed to help you brand your business. This can be a really fun aspect of creating your company, and it can also be one of the most challenging. Your goal for the end of this module is to have a clear path to building your brand. This includes everything from your company name to the photos on your website and to the relationship you want to build with your customers.
Firstly, let's ensure we're on the same page. What exactly is a brand? A brand is how people perceive your business. A brand is not what you tell your customers to think. It's the feeling they have when they interact with your business and the promise that you make about the value you're going to deliver. Your brand will evolve over time, and some of it you can control and some of it you can't. But when it comes to the aspects of your brand that you can control, it's good to get started early and stay consistent.
Early on, your brand includes everything from your logo to your one-on-one customer service. When we first began thinking about our business and what direction to take, we knew we wanted customers to think quality, whether that was our packaging, our ingredients, our flavor profiles, or customer service. We wanted customers to know that they were getting the very best. Think about what feelings you want your customers to feel when they interact with your brand.
It's a great way to set the tone for everything you do in your business. Throughout this module, we'll help you create a beautiful and original brand for your business. Again, your brand will evolve over time, and it will ultimately be dictated by how your customers feel about you. But today, we can take the steps to set the tone for your brand through different design elements. Before getting started, use the worksheet included in this lesson to work through your brand architecture.
Once you have that completed, we'll kick things off by designing your website. [MUSIC PLAYING]
