So you wanna be a boss. Netflix and chill will yourself to get off the couch already. How to Be a Boss (According to Your Favorite Shows) is your excuse to binge all the TV you want. It’s career inspiration, right?

Ladiezzz and gentleman! Get ready because the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are back, and they’re battling some seriously relatable workplace issues. We’re talking: taking down the patriarchy in a bid for equality, fighting to find work-life balance, and smashing barriers to build a successful business—all of which proves to be an entertaining, and inspiring, matchup for the badass women of Netflix’s GLOW.  

Sure, in the ring, taking care of business is as easy as a camel clutch or flying thrust kick. But in the real world, a choreographed fight doesn’t typically solve much. Yet season after season, Zoya the Destroya, Liberty Belle, and the rest of the GLOW gang have demonstrated that no matter who, or what, you’re up against, you’ve got what it takes to be an ultimate boss and emerge victorious. (No inverted full nelson slams necessary.)

1. Know how to make an entrance.

2. Take the mic. Step into the spotlight. Bring down the house. This is your time.

3. Keep people you trust, love, and learn from in your corner.

4. Don’t let anyone overlook you. Demand to be heard, respected, and treated equally.

5. Network with badass, barrier-breaking professionals who can teach you the ropes.

6. Don’t be afraid to take risks (responsibly). Sometimes it pays to roll the dice on a new idea or opportunity.

8. Mix up your roles once in a while to get a fresh perspective.

9. Run at your problems head on. (What else are latex bodysuits for?)

10. Get out of the office once in a while. Offsites can provide great insight—even if they’re held in the desert.
